Bears look west for wide receiver help in latest 2023 mock draft (2022 Season)

The Chicago Bears have to trim their roster to 80 players by 4 p.m. EST on August 23. On Tuesday, general manager Ryan Poles made his first round of cuts — three players were waived and one was sent to injured reserve — to get the Bears roster down to 85 names.

Here’s the list of Bears players who’ve been let go so far this summer:

  • DL Carson Taylor
  • LB Christian Albright
  • LB C.J. Avery
  • TE Rysen John
  • LB Noah Dawkins
  • S Michael Joseph
  • CB Jayson Stanley
  • LB Javin White

Rookie center Doug Kramer was placed on injured reserve after potentially suffering a Lisfranc injury.

We’ll update all of the Chicago Bears roster transactions as cuts continue to be announced.
