WATCH: Highlights of new Chicago Bears LB T.J. Edwards

The Chicago Bears have a new middle linebacker in former Philadelphia Eagles star T.J. Edwards. The Bears agreed to terms on a three-year deal with Edwards shortly after the 2023 free agency negotiation window opened.

Edwards will play middle linebacker for the Chicago Bears in 2023, with Jack Sanborn sliding to the strong side and a potential free agent slotting in as the weak-side linebacker, according to Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs.

The Bears are expected to be busy throughout the first two days of free agency, including a possible signing of San Francisco 49ers right tackle Mike McGlinchey.
