NFC North: Aaron Rodgers has broken thumb on throwing hand (2022 Season)

The Chicago Bears are finally free from the Aaron Rodgers curse.

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to trade the Hall of Fame quarterback to the New York Jets for a conditional second-round pick that could become a first-rounder in 2024.

“It’ll be a day or two before the Aaron Rodgers trade is submitted to the league office — he’ll sign a revised contract with the Packers to facilitate the trade and help Green Bay’s cap,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelisero tweeted. “But everything has been agreed to and will be official before the draft. He’ll be a Jet.”

And with that, the Chicago Bears’ chances of winning the NFC North just went way up.

We’ll have more on this historic trade as the night unfolds.
