Finally, some good news about the Chicago Bears offensive line

The Chicago Bears’ offensive line has been a concern over the last week or so. It’s not that it’s an untalented group. Instead, it’s an unhealthy group.

Guards Nate Davis and Teven Jenkins and right tackle Darnell Wright have missed portions (or more) of practice, leading Bears fans to speculate whether it would be wise to send Caleb Williams into live action against the Buffalo Bills in Saturday’s Week 1 preseason game behind a ragtag o-line.

Those concerns took a step toward getting squashed Tuesday when the Bears starting five was… the starting five.

LT: Braxton Jones
LG: Teven Jenkins
C: Coleman Shelton
RG: Nate Davis
RT: Darnell Wright

MORE: Keenan Allen approached Bears about contract extension

It feels good to write that, even if there are still questions about who the starting center will be. As long as Williams has his bookend tackles and interior protectors, he should be ready to roll (safely) against the Bills.
