4 reasons Bears fans should stay optimistic after tough Week 14 loss to Packers
The Bears may have fallen to the Packers in Week 14, but there are still several encouraging signs for Chicago’s season. Here are four key reasons fans should remain optimistic moving forward.
Despite loss to Packers, Bears still control their own destiny
Yeah, it sucks that the Bears didn’t leave Green Bay with the win. But the best position any team can be in is when it controls its own destiny.
That’s what the Bears have right now: total control.
But it won’t be easy for the Chicago Bears to finish the 2025 season as a playoff team. They face the Cleveland Browns this Sunday, then a three-game gauntlet against the Packers, San Francisco 49ers, and Detroit Lions.
If Ben Johnson’s squad goes 4-0, there’s a good chance they’ll be NFC North champs and a very high seed in the NFC playoffs.
So, yeah. Losing to the Packers isn’t ideal, but if the Bears really belong in the playoffs this year, they’ll prove it over the next four games.
