Training Camp Quick Hits: Bears beat up Dolphins in joint practice
By all accounts, the Chicago Bears are beating up the Miami Dolphins in their joint practice session Friday.
The defense has been dominant, and it certainly feels like there’s a new attitude on that side of the ball with Dennis Allen calling the shots.
The offense and QB Caleb Williams have made their fair share of plays, including a long touchdown strike to WR Olamide Zaccheaus.
As for the sleeper to keep a close eye on? Yep, it’s seventh-round rookie Kyle Monangai, who’s getting reps as the first-team running back.
Braxton Jones got the first crack at left tackle, but rookie second-round pick Ozzy Trapilo replaced him in the second 11-on-11 series.
We’ll have more updates on the Chicago Bears’ joint practice with the Miami Dolphins throughout the day.
